The Lacursome® manufacturing technology, developed by Aliveda, protects, carries and improves the absorption of active principles.
Lacursome is an acronym of LActoferrin-CURcumin- microSOMal and it allows the production of lipidic nanoparticles, which hold and carry the active principles.
The nanoparticles are coated by fatty acids from the cocoa butter, they form a shell which holds the different active principles, with the aim of protecting them, improving their solubility and absorption and carrying them to the target tissue. On the external surface, indeed, it is inserted a tissue-specific ligand, which allows the direction of the active principles to the target tissue where the receptors are present.
